Forty.5 Ventures is a venture studio and venture capital fund founded in 2020, with offices in Los Angeles, Belgrade and Singapore. It invests at pre-seed, seed and Series A stage in South-East Europe, the United States and Asia-Pacific. In September 2026 it closed its first fund at US$30 million, with investors from Europe, the United States and Asia-Pacific.
It was founded by Zoran Vasiljev, an entrepreneur with six exits behind him. Its Chairman and Venture Partner for Europe is Riccardo Maria Monti, Partner & Chief Strategy Officer of Renovarum.
In September 2026 Forty.5 Ventures chose Renovarum Capital as its exclusive partner for Italy. Renovarum is its point of reference in the Italian market for identifying, structuring and executing joint opportunities, starting from Italy and from selected European opportunities, with an eye to cross-border transactions. Forty.5 backs founders in the earliest stages, Renovarum Capital supports them in capital raising, M&A and international expansion, and Renovarum Investments through co-investment.

The partnership strengthens our role as an independent corporate finance partner, able to connect Italian companies with international capital, expertise and opportunities and, at the same time, to support foreign players in developing initiatives in the Italian market.
For a foreign fund, family office or industrial group, Italy is a market of mid-sized companies, often family-owned, that frequently do not appear in databases. We find them directly, drawing on our regional coverage, particularly in Southern Italy.
We support the investor from the investment thesis to the choice of targets, from valuation to negotiation, through to closing and the monitoring of the investment. In the same way, we bring Italian companies before foreign investors when they are looking for a partner or a buyer beyond Italy’s borders, as in the sale of I‑Vet to Vimian, the Swedish group listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
